Health & Safety Policy

Protocol is committed to ensuring the health and safety of its employees and associates and its clients’ workforces at all times. Our aim is that each associate understands and takes responsibility for their own, and others, health and safety, in so far as it is appropriate.

Employees/ Associates shall:

  Consider their own health and safety at all times, when engaged on Protocol business
 
  Consider the health and safety of delegates/learners when designing and delivering training
 
  Ensure they are aware of Fire and Evacuation procedures at all venues, and share this information with delegates/learners if they are not already aware of the procedures

 
  Ensure they have a contact at each venue in case of illness or accident to themselves or delegates
 
  Ensure that any accidents are formally recorded at the time with the client / venue to protect the rights of the individual, the client and Protocol

 
  Make themselves aware of, and abide by, clients’ Health and Safety regulations when visiting clients on-site  
  Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs when engaged on Protocol business
 
  Make known to Protocol any circumstances that could impact on the Health and Safety of other Protocol employees, associates and/or clients’ workforces

  Report any identified health and safety issues / situations to the appropriate person (client / venue etc)  
   

Breaches of our health and safety policy will be regarded as misconduct and could lead to an associate relationship being terminated.
